Do Not Let Coronavirus Enter Your Living Spaces: Disinfect Your House

House Cleaning During The Covid-19 Outbreak

We all have a coronavirus on our agenda. What you need to do to protect against this virus and protect our health is clear: not leaving your house unless necessary, paying attention to social distance and of course paying attention to hygiene!

Using alcohol-based hand antiseptics is very important to ensure personal hygiene. But only hand-cleaning isn’t enough to prevent disease. You must also clean your living space. So what to do to disinfect the house?
To keep the germs and bacteria away from your home, deep cleaning, disinfecting and good hygiene maintenance will help you minimise the risk of contracting COVID-19. It’s especially important to disinfect and deep clean your home if someone within the household has been ill. In this blog, we take you through some top tips on cleaning and disinfecting your home to prevent illness and infection.

How To Keep Coronavirus Away?

Laundry

To reduce the risk of microbes spreading into our living space, we must keep the clothes that we wear outside. If you’re living with vulnerable family members like the elderly and babies, even a simple app like managing your laundry properly can make a big difference. Dirty laundry that has been in contact with an ill person can be washed with other people’s items.
Therefore, it is very important to clean your hands thoroughly after dealing with dirty laundry.

Soft Surfaces

To clean soft surfaces such as carpeted floors, rugs and covers, clean them using soap and water, or with cleaners suitable for use on these surfaces. Wash items (if possible) according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Dry items completely.

After you disinfect your house It is very important to take your shoes out, not to enter the entrance with shoes to leave the germs out of our house. If possible, you can place the shoe under the shoe after wiping it under.

Hard (Non-porous) Surfaces

Door sound, electrical switches, window handles, faucets, furniture handles and protection, soap dispensers, siphon button … All these areas are points that you can touch as soon as you come home, that is, you can touch with dirty hands. Cleaning these points with appropriate disinfectants during the day is essential for the health of the household.

Detergent or soap and water is efficient in cleaning dirty surfaces however if you’re disinfecting a surface area, prepare a bleach solution by mixing, 5 tablespoons (1/3rd cup) bleach per gallon of water or 4 teaspoons bleach per quart of water. Never mix household bleach with ammonia or any other cleanser. Leave the solution on the surface for at least 1 minute. That should disinfect the hard surfaces in your house.

Electronics

You can’t disinfect your house properly if you skip electronics. You can clean electronics, such as tablets, touch screens, keyboards, and remote controls with antibacterial wipes or mix half a glass of water and half a glass of isopropyl alcohol (70%) to prepare a cleansing lotion. Put the solution in a spray bottle, shake the bottle before use. Squeeze it gently on your dry cloth (Never wet the cloth). Gently wipe the back and front surface with the solution cloth.
